Danella Sealock VanNiel is a seasoned media professional, television and radio host, and entrepreneur with a dynamic presence across major U.S. markets, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Miami. Her expertise spans national and international television, where she has been a featured personality on numerous platforms.

 

A proud graduate of New York University, Danella launched her career in radio at Washington, D.C.'s 93.9 WKYS, quickly catching the attention of Black Entertainment Television (BET). At BET, she became a familiar face, hosting flagship programs such as The Black Carpet, 106 & Park, and The BET Awards Pre-Show. She later returned to radio as co-host of The Big Tigger Morning Show before transitioning to NBC4 Washington, where she served as the morning traffic anchor. In addition, she covered high-impact news and community-focused segments while honing her skills as a writer and producer.

 

In 2014, Danella founded VanLock Enterprises, a media relations firm specializing in strategic communications, talent representation, and brand development. Her company serves clients in New York,  Greater Washington, D.C., and Nairobi, Kenya, respectively, bridging media landscapes across continents.

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Danella enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and their son, Kyle Jace.
